#ReadCamp21 Starts Today

The 6th edition of Mother of all Nations Foundation’s annual literacy project, “ReadCamp” begun today as participants lined up at the centers to have themselves assessed for grouping.

A total of about 300 participants were registered and assessed for the project at both venues.

Participants from the two venues namely, Mother of all Nations Academy and Madina Islamic school will be taken through reading and phonetic assessment before the commencement of the three week project.

During assessment, the partcipants were made to read a passage and were also given some words to pronounce as a means to test their phonetic awareness.

At the end of the assessment, participants were grouped into three categories, (i.e. Red Cell, Yellow Cell and Green Cell ) depending on their ability to read and pronounce words accurately.

These groups were assigned Change Agents (Mentors) to take them through the three week project.
