During the COVID-19 partial lockdown, MoANF, in collaboration with United Way Ghana and Cummins Inc. Ghana, initiated a food distribution program in three communities severely impacted by the pandemic’s restrictions.
Starting on June 22, 2020, this two-week project aimed to support 900 vulnerable households in Ashaiman, Odorkor, and Larteh Bio Korshie.
Each community received 300 food relief packages valued at GHS 200 each, comprising essentials like rice, beans, cooking oil, sugar, mackerel, and tomato paste. Volunteers gathered household data to ensure accurate and targeted assistance.
