READ CAMP

ABOUT READ CAMP PROJECT

READ CAMP is a literacy activity crafted to enhance young students/pupils’ reading and writing skills and also to engage them in learning beyond the classroom. The programme is designed so that beneficiaries (mentees) will be taken through reading, writing and basic internet surfing, to be equipped with the necessary skills without difficulty.

Mentors who are mostly volunteers are tertiary students or graduates are equally taken through a two-day workshop to equip them with all the required skills needed to effectively train and impact mentees throughout the project period.

At the end of the project, participants are expected to, if not mastered the art of reading and writing, at least improve on their reading and writing skills.

The project for the past three years now has touched the lives of over one thousand (1000) young people within the La Nkwantanang / Madina Municipal Assembly
